These easy to cook air fryer Tikka Pork Kebabs will be on your plate in 30 minutes and taste absolutely delicious!

You can choose between serving the skewers with rice, naan bread or even a flat bread with a crisp salad.

Ingredients

4 lean pork loin steaks, fat removed or pork shoulder steaks, cut into 1.5cm cubes
100g natural low-fat yogurt
3 tablespoons tikka paste or powder
1 teaspoon garlic purée

Method

Step 1

Soak 4-6 short wooden skewers in cold water for 15 minutes and set aside.

Step 2

In a large bowl mix together the yogurt, tikka paste or powder, garlic purée and salt and pepper. Add the pork cubes, gently stir to coat.  Cover and set aside for 10-15 minutes for the flavours to mingle.

Step 3

Preheat the air fryer to 180°C.

Step 4

Thread the pork onto the skewers (discard the marinade) and place into the base of the air fryer. Cook for 8-10 minutes (or 12-15 mins for shoulder steaks), turning halfway during cooking until the meat juices run clear.

Step 5

Serve the skewers with rice, naan or flat breads and a crisp salad.

Air fryers do vary so adjust the cooking time according to your appliance handbook.

Tip: If you don’t own an air fryer, cook the kebabs on a preheated, moderate grill for 10-15 minutes, turning once.
