Sticky Gochujang Pork Fillet

Ingredients

1 x 450g lean pork fillet, trimmed
For the glaze:
1 tablespoon gochujang paste (Korean chilli paste)
2 teaspoons light soy sauce
2 teaspoons garlic purée or paste
1 tablespoon runny honey
1-2 spring onions, finely chopped, to garnish

Method

Step 1

In a small bowl mix the gochujang paste, soy sauce, garlic purée, honey, salt and pepper together. Preheat the air fryer to 200°C for a few minutes. 

Step 2

Put the fillet on a clean chopping board and brush some of the glaze all over the fillet (reserve the remainder for later). Transfer the fillet to the air fryer. 

Step 3

Cook for 10 minutes, then turn the fillet over in the air fryer and brush with the remaining glaze. Continue to cook for a further 10 minutes until lightly brown and sticky. The internal temperature should be 75°C. 

Step 4

Remove from the air fryer and leave to rest for 5-10 minutes. Garnish with the spring onions before serving with egg fried rice.
